What are renewals?

Domains are registered in 1 year increments, so one year after registering the domain, the name will expire, and the domain owner will no longer have claim or use of the name.

Each year, should the domain owners wish to continue to use the domain name, it will have to be renewed. This can happen manually or automatically, in a manual renewal, the TopDog user will need to navigate to the domain on TopDog, drill down into it and click on "Update" this will generate a transaction, and deduct funds of the pre loaded available funds.

For an Auto-renew, this will take place automatically. Sufficient funds will need to be loaded on TopDog and on expiry, the renewal and transaction will happen automatically.
